Mrs. June Johnston’s paintings are full of texture, color, and powerful imagery. Initially drawn by the color and size of the paintings, the viewer is then confronted by the harsh realities of life. Each painting depicts an event from Mrs. Johnston’s own life or the lives of those around her.
